Less than 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood, but of those, less than 10 percent donate each year. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Most donations take about an hour, so book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross. If you don’t know if you’re eligible, show up to find out. First time blood donors don’t need to know their blood type to donate blood.

We have an exciting change to share with you for your next blood donation. We have a new device eliminates the fingerstick and instead utilizes a ring-shaped sensor that is fitted onto an individual’s finger to measure their hemoglobin levels. This method provides a quick measurement of the donor’s blood components, while greatly improving the donor’s comfort.
