Paul Schlereth, retired Kenosha Fire Department Paramedic, will conduct a 4-hour class following the American Heart Association guidelines and is designed to help you acquire the skills to respond effectively in an emergency situation.
Training on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and manage a choking situation will be covered. Techniques for adults, children and infants are included.
You must be signed up ahead of the date to attend the training. Another training will be considered to accommodate those over the the limit of thirteen. The cost of the training is $55/person, payable on the day of training.
Those completing the course will receive a two-year certification from the American Heart Association.
