The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for Tuesday with a Zoom video link. The planned series are from the Proverbs.
Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, January 23, 2026, in the church fellowship hall, beginning at 6 pm. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.
Club 55 is planning to host a free presentation by the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection “Be Safe from Scams” at 10:00 am, Saturday January 24. Please sign up at the Club 55 bulletin board and invite your friends and neighbors.
A Baby Welcome party for Fernanda and Elmer planned for Sunday January 25 at 12:15 pm is being rescheduled due to extreme cold weather. Please sign up in the hallway if you plan to attend and bring a main or side dish to share. The annual WCYC dinner and auction is planned for Saturday February 21 at 5:30 pm.
The Brentwood church is planning a United Ladies Day Tea for February 21 from noon to 3.
Club 55 Don’t Be Scammed event is rescheduled due to the forecast of severe cold weather. The new date will be February 28 beginning at 10 am. Arrive at 9:45.
Regular Events
The Thursday Morning Ladies Study meets Thursdays at 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall with a light breakfast and class promptly at 10 AM. The study is on 1, 2 and 3 John using a book titled “Abide”. See Peggy or Allison for details. A period of stretching and chair yoga is planned after class.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., resuming January 8. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm., A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food. Dan Giombi has details.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May.
Opportunities
Elizabeth Barrera is supporting a Christian adoption organization called Sacred Selections by collecting clean metal that can be recycled. Collection details are to be determined.
