Today is First Sunday First Fruits. Tables are set up in room 4 for items.
Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying How Do We Read the Bible. Wednesday evening Bible class is in Revelation.
Today, about 5 minutes after the worship, we are planning 15 minutes of prayer in the fellowship room for Southside.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for Tuesday at the building at 6:30 p.m. with food provided. Please see Dan Giombi for details.

Special Events
November 16 is designated Orphan Sunday.
Hunger Task Force stock box packing is planned for Friday November 21 (date change) from 9 to noon at 300 E. College, Bld. 205. A sign-up sheet is on the Club 55 bulletin board that has age and footwear restrictions. See Otto Mageland for details.
The annual Senior Thanksgiving Feast is planned for Saturday November 22.
The annual Fireside outing is planned for Saturday December 6 with a 10:30 am arrival time. Cost is $78.95 each plus $6-$7 tip (for 18 or more people) and a sheet is posted near the kitchen door for your food choices. Sign up and payment is required by November 6. The performance is “A Wonderful Life”.
A Teen Night is planned for Friday December 12.
A Blue Christmas/Longest Night Service is planned for Wednesday December 17, 7 pm.
Regular Events
Young adults are invited to a bilingual (English/Spanish) gathering at the home of Rex and Laura Butts (3717 E. Morris Ave, Cudahy WI 53110) on the second and fourth Sundays of the month starting at noon with lunch provided about 12:30 pm. An Open Bible Discussion is planned with no advance preparation required other than to bring your Bible.
The Thursday Morning Ladies Study plans to meet Thursdays at 9:30 AM in room 9 with a light breakfast and class promptly at 10 AM. The study will be 1, 2 and 3 John using a book titled “Abide”. See Peggy or Allison for details. A period of stretching and chair yoga is planned after class.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm. Also on Zoom.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May.
Opportunities
Additional help is needed for the periodic Red Cross Blood Drives for things like checking people in. See Wayne Alexander if you are interested.
A Red Cross blood drive at Southside is planned for Friday December 18 from noon to 5. Browse to redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767 to make an appointment.
You can support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services when using “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.
There is a sign-up sheet on the Club 55 bulletin board for those interested in packing Stock Boxes for the Hunger Task Force. A specific date is not yet selected but we need to find out how many are available on a weekday.

Reminders
When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events. This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know. Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
