Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying How Do We Read the Bible. Wednesday evening Bible class is in Revelation.
If you bring cookies or treats Sunday morning, please label any likely allergens (usually peanuts or nuts) and show them to Dorothy.
A School Days Memories activity is being planned by Club 55 on Saturday, September 20th at 11:30 AM at the building. Share your great school days memories. See the Club 55 bulletin board to sign up or for more details.
The Midwest Preachers Retreat is scheduled for September 22-24 at Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp in Black River Falls, WI. See www.midwestpreachersretreat.com for more details.
Special Events
The Fond Du Lac Church of Christ Fellowship Picnic is planned for September 27th at Noon.
The Annual Give Away is planned October 4th, 2025 from 9 AM until 2 PM. Items can be put in room 6. (The room in the upstairs hallway nearest the parking lot entrances.) Items should be clean, not broken or in need of any repair. We cannot accept car seats or medications. Volunteer signup sheets are posted.
A Wisconsin Churches of Christ Picnic is planned for October 4 at Jordan Park in Stevens Point. A flyer is posted.
Trunk Or Treat is being planned for Saturday, October 11th, 2025. Setup starts at 1 PM, the event from 3 until 5 PM and cleanup until done. Help from the congregation is needed. See Kevin Morrill for details and signup.
The Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp Annual Meeting is scheduled to be held at Southside on Saturday, October 18th.
A Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night is planned on Friday, October 24th at 6 PM at the building. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game.
A Chili Feast is planned for November 1.
November 16 is designated Orphan Sunday.
The annual Fireside outing is planned for Saturday December 6 with a 10:30 am arrival time. Cost is $78.95 each plus $6-$7 tip (for 18 or more people) and a sheet is posted near the kitchen door for your food choices. Sign up and payment is required by November 6. The performance is “A Wonderful Life”.
Regular Events
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.
A time of prayer is planned the second Tuesday at 7 PM each month at the building and after morning worship the first Sunday of each month.
Men’s Fellowship & Bible Study Group is the first Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study resumes Thursday, September 18th at 9:30 AM with a light breakfast and class promptly at 10 AM. The study will be 1, 2 and 3 John using a book titled “Abide”. See Peggy or Allison for details
Christian Workers Meeting is the third Tuesday at 9AM Oct through May.

Additional help is needed for the periodic Red Cross Blood Drives for things like checking people in. See Wayne Alexander if you are interested.

When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events. This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know. Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
