Prayer Requests 01-03-21

“Prayers don’t need to be long and eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Patti Young fell this weekend and severely injured her head and her ribs. She was admitted to Milwaukee St. Mary’s. Please lift her and Roger up in prayer.

Brandon Kowalski reminds us to pray to God to keep our emergency workers safe and for our doctors to have the will to deal with everyday tasks. He also asks for prayers for himself to resolve his life issues and to become closer with God.

Otto Mageland went back to the hospital Sunday night because of a severe cough. A liter of fluid was drained from between his chest cavity and lungs. Tests are being done to help determine why it had accumulated.

Continue prayers for Linda Stanger, that the source of her illness and a proper treatment may be determined.

Carolyn Buettner is home recovering from the second surgery for cancer. Keep her in your prayers.

Patrick Bowman is having tests done for heart related issues. Please keep him close in prayer as treatment is being determined.

Joan, the neighbor to the south of the church building,  has been her brother’s caretaker for the last several months. Last night her brother was taken to the hospital and she is has been unable to see him or get timely updates on his health which is frustrating for her. Also, a couple months ago her pet beagle passed away and she is grieving that loss.  Please remember our neighbor Joan, in your prayers.

Marie Coffey’s brother tested positive for Covid but is asymptomatic. She asks for prayers for her mother that she would not get the virus who was with him for Christmas.  Marie also asks prayers for the mother of her friend, Dawn, who is scheduled to have open-heart surgery on January 11th.

Scot and Shirley Cerka’s son Jeremy’s back surgery is scheduled for January 20 at West Allis Hospital. They ask for us to keep him in our prayers.

Continue to remember Beth Young in your prayers for her job search.

Sandie Copass’ brother, Larry Hinson is being tested to find out if he has had a reoccurrence of lymphoma.

Marlene Saunders is recovering at home after successful colon cancer surgery.

Leigh Kilsdonk would like to ask people to join her in praying that 2021 will be a good year for all of us.
