Club 55 is planning Christmas Trees Around the World for Saturday December 15 at Old Country Buffet, 4902 S 74th Street in Greenfield starting at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $7.50 per person. Instructions for what to bring and signup are on the Club 55 bulletin board.
The Caring Ministry would like to bless some families and individuals of our congregation with a gift bag/basket. If you would like to help, please bring your donation on Sunday, December 16 and give your gift to Lindy Zinkgraf or Sandie Copass.
The 2019 Southside budget has been completed and a copy is posted on the bulletin board just outside the church office. If you have any questions, please see Brad Stanger.
Special Events
A Cribbage game will be held at the church building on January 19 beginning at 4 pm. Sign up on the bulletin board if you’d like to play.
A Club 55 event is scheduled on February 2.
The WCYC Dinner and Auction is planned for February 9.
The Sweetheart Dinner will be February 16.
The Southside Youth Rally is scheduled for February 23.

Check out the New Caring Ministry bulletin board. Thanks to Otto for putting it up for us! It is located along the hall going toward Laurie’s office, all adorned with hearts. Please, if you would like to, grab a sticky note (provided at the board) and share a favorite scripture, a note of thanksgiving, and/or a note of encouragement and place it on the board.
There’s a special group of people here at Southside that are ages 55 and older, called Club 55. They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond. We have an attended nursery for small children during morning worship periods in room 2. We also have a training room at the rear of the auditorium where parents can stay with their little ones while worshiping.
A children’s worship is scheduled to begin near the start of the worship lesson time. Children’s Worship is intended to provide a time of worship for children age 3 thru Grade 3 and to encourage families with children. Everyone is asked to begin worship in the auditorium (adults and children). Parents should accompany their smaller children to the basement as well as children who have not attended before. Before you return upstairs, be sure to indicate to the people at the door if you would prefer us to keep your young person till you return to get them or if it is alright to let them go after the adult worship is dismissed.
Free CD’s of the Sunday morning sermons are available from Joel Ribar. Be sure to specify the date desired. MP3 copies of sermons are also available at the church web site.
The Library is open after classes and the worship period. Don’t forget to return any overdue books to the library. There is a book return box located in the entry way next to the picture board.
