Today is First Sunday First Fruits. Tables are set up in room 4 for food items.
Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
Today, about 5 minutes after the worship, we are planning 15 minutes of prayer in the fellowship room for Southside.
A baby blessing for the child of Zach and Taylor Hartvig is planned after worship with cake served afterward.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for Tuesday at the building at 6:30 p.m. with food provided. Please see Dan Giombi for details.
A WCYC Board Meeting is planned at Southside for Saturday January 10.
Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Woman’s Rolls in the Church. Wednesday evening Bible class is in Revelation.
If you bring cookies or treats Sunday morning, please label any likely allergens (usually peanuts or nuts) and show them to Dorothy BEFORE putting them out.
Special Events
Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, January 23, 2026, in the church fellowship hall, beginning at 6 pm. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.
Club 55 is planning to host a free presentation “Be Safe from Scams” at 10:00 am, Saturday January 24. Please sign up at the Club 55 bulletin board and invite your friends and neighbors.
A Baby Welcome party for Fernanda and Elmer is planned for Sunday January 25 at 12:15 pm. Please sign up in the hallway if you plan to attend.
The annual WCYC dinner and auction is planned for Saturday February 21 at 5:30 pm.
The Brentwood church is planning a United Ladies Day Tea for February 21 from noon to 3.

The Thursday Morning Ladies Study plans to meet Thursdays at 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall with a light breakfast and class promptly at 10 AM. The study will be 1, 2 and 3 John using a book titled “Abide”. See Peggy or Allison for details. A period of stretching and chair yoga is planned after class.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., resuming January 8. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
