Wayne Alexander was scheduled to have surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon last Thursday. The surgery was put on hold by the cardiologist for testing. Everything turned out well so now he is expected to go into surgery on Tuesday afternoon, 9/23, at St Luke’s Hospital. Continue praying for Wayne for the surgery and his recovery.
Barb Ciesinski thanks everyone for the prayers offered on her behalf. She asks for continued prayers. (She still plans to do the Suicide Prevention Walk in honor of her daughter, on Oct 11, even if she must use a mobility device due to her injured ankle)
Jim Nichols asks prayers for his co-worker, Manivanh, whose mom was just diagnosed for the 2nd time with breast cancer after 8 years of remission.
Timothy Retzlaff asks that we please continue to pray for him, that he will get his social security benefits reinstated. He has a meeting with Social Security on Sept 30th.
Cliff Copass’ second cousin D.J. is hospitalized in Tennessee with a ruptured colon and massive infection.
Sandie Copass’ sister Linda was in the hospital in Michigan with dangerously high blood pressure.
Renee Cooper requests several prayers – “Prayers for our church members who are recovering from illness or injury and those undergoing treatments, that they will be effective.
Prayers for my son, Nicholas Staller who is recovering from a stroke he had a year ago. I don’t know where he is and pray I will find him soon.
Also, for my service dog, Daisy’s recovery from multiple dog bites she received when we were both attacked by a larger American Pit Bull Terrier staying at the Salvation Army Shelter.
Prayers for all of the families who are suffering who have injured or lost family members in all of the violence this past week throughout the world. Especially, pray for our great country that we will have peace and no need for our National Guard to be in our beautiful Capitol, or anywhere else in our country!”
