Mark & Corrina Orlovsky are proud grandparents to their first grandchild, Nathaniel Mark, born last week to their daughter Myranda & Trevor Duerr. Baby and mom are both doing great. May God bless this precious child.
It was good seeing Cliff Copass, with Sandie by his side, at worship yesterday. Thank God for Cliff’s healing so far and prayers for continued strength, patience and health.
Vee Johnson’s mother, Judy Krieger, passed away last week. A Celebration of Life is being planned at Southside for Sept 13. Please lift Vee, Tony, Alijah, Victoria and all of Vee’s family in prayer in this time of loss and mourning. They have had two other losses of loved ones recently, so their hearts are especially heavy.
A message and update on Mark Van Handel from Karen: “Many thanks for your prayers, texts, cards and for giving support and encouragement. Mark & I feel your love and we know God is with us through everything! Mark has had some ups and downs as we wait for his intestines to ‘wake up.’ We recognize even more now, how fearfully and wonderfully God has made us.”
Baby Samuel’s surgery to replace the portion of his skull went well. He is slowly able to take in nourishment and as long as he keeps progressing is expected to go home from the hospital soon. His mother, Deymin, and Margaret have been rotating staying at the hospital with him. Please pray for Margaret to stay strong and for Deymin to recognize God’s hand in this process.
Molly Giombi, Erick & Rio arrived safely to St Francis. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for them. Please continue praying for Erick to find a job in the Milwaukee area. If anyone has recommendations, please contact the Giombi’s.
