“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”
Marcos Alicea continues to have problems with his throat after cancer surgery and it is still difficult for him to eat. He is scheduled February 15 for another surgery to try to fix the problem. A biopsy will be done and he is going to have a feeding tube put in. Please remember Marcos in prayer that this surgery will be successful, for good results on the biopsy and for relief from pain.
Patty Young is scheduled February 10 to have a second ablation done, this time on the right side of her back. Please pray for this one to be as successful as the first one.

Please take a moment to pray for our friend and former long-time WCYC board member, Guy Marshall (Retired minister of Sheboygan Church of Christ). He is currently in ICU in Milwaukee battling COVID and resulting complications of sepsis which have caused kidney and liver damage.

Please continue prayers for Cliff’s mom, Anna Copass, as she goes through rehab at Lutheran House after breaking her leg.
Patty Young asks for prayers for her good friend Shirley Williams whose mother (Marietta) had a massive stroke and is in a coma and not expected to live long. Please pray for Shirley and the Williams family.
Patty Young’s daughter, Wendy, started chemotherapy treatments that will be followed with radiation treatments for lung cancer. Continue to keep Wendy in your prayers.
Patty Young’s son, Troy Young, had a stress test to see if he was fit for surgery and they had to stop the test because his blood pressure went extremely high. He will see a cardiologist to follow up on his heart. Troy has a pocket in his esophagus and is in a lot of pain from it. Please continue to pray for Troy as well.
Lift in prayer those who are struggling spiritually and mentally. Those challenges aren’t always easy to identify and explain like the physical issues we see, but are just as much necessary to be prayed over. Consider reaching out to someone you know who is struggling, to talk with them and to pray with them.
Keep Southside in your prayers, for the growth of future ministries, for our vision, for those who are leading us and for God to direct us in the way He wants us to grow.
