The Prayer Meeting is this Tuesday, October 12, at Southside. This is one hour of dedicated prayer time.
Southside will host the next American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, Oct 14, 12 pm – 5 pm.
A meeting to discuss Sunday morning songs and service line-up is planned for Sunday October 17 after worship and before the Sweetest Day Dinner in the auditorium. Please attend if you have interest in our worship schedule.
Next Sunday, October 17, after the worship meeting, Club 55 will host a Sweetest Day soup and sandwich luncheon for all ages beginning at 1 pm. Please sign up today if you plan to attend. Contact Sandie Copass or Linda Stanger for details. Club 55 is also requesting suggestions for a Christmas activity.
Sunday morning Class and Worship is now held in-person as well as live-streamed. You are welcome to join us! At Southside, we will allow 100% capacity without mask requirements in the auditorium but suggest you continue to follow CDC recommendations in regards to vaccinated and un-vaccinated people. If you wish to remain masked and distanced from others, the fellowship room is set up to allow this. Please do not enter the fellowship room without a mask. Of course, if you are ill or have had recent contact with someone who is ill, please stay home. There is no evening worship at this time.
Regular Events
Wednesday night Bible class at the building – 7 pm. A Study in the book of Psalms. (Also available as a Zoom meeting)
The Thursday morning Ladies Bible Class meets each week at 10 am in the fellowship hall. A one-year devotional using the book, “Women of the Bible” is being used. See Peggy Koch or Allison Morrill for details.
Second Tuesday Hour of Prayer meeting – October 12 at 7 pm
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May. Next meeting is October 19.
First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Bible Study group meets each month September through June. Next meeting: November 2
Prayer Meeting for 15 minutes: first Sunday of month in the Fellowship Room 5 minutes after worship. – November 7
Seats and reservations are being held for the show at the Fireside Theatre for December 11, 2021. Please contact Sandie Copass to discuss.
