Prayer Requests 05-02-21

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Our prayers are requested on behalf of those involved in the violence on the north side, the recent mass shootings and for the police. May God grant mercy.

Jordan Hill asks for our prayers of support as she is learning to navigate on her own as a young adult in Washington state.

Lift our sister, Maria Hill in prayer for strength and that the side effects of her treatments won’t be too bad or lengthy. Maria, Ben and Kenny all are very grateful for everyone’s prayers and other care shown to them. She is in the hospital going through the process of a bone marrow transplant. The next 100 days after returning home are critical. She knows that God has carried her though this from the beginning. She continues to take refuge in God as He gives her peace. She asks us to continue to lift Ben and Kenny in our prayers.

Marie Coffey says, “Thank you for card and prayers.” The x-rays taken of her foot showed nothing fractured or broken. “PRAISE GOD!!” She had an appointment with the podiatrist Monday.

Marie Coffey asks for continued prayers for Matthew as he struggles with health issues every day and also prayers that his relationship with his mother can be restored.

Otto Mageland – “A grateful thank you to all those who have been praying for my recovery, and for all the cards and well wishes too, and offers of food and help in various ways were also greatly appreciated. Praise to our Lord for the healing and spiritual comfort along the way. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases!”
