Now, more than ever, the need to be connected is important. Consider those who may not use the internet/email to communicate and those who live alone. A phone call is a wonderfully personal way to connect with someone – even with those you regularly message by text or Face Book, etc. The longer we are kept physically separated the more a friendly voice on the phone is appreciated.
Diane Petsch’s mother, Carol fell Tuesday and they think there may be internal bleeding. She is in hospice care showing signs of end of life stages. Diane has been unable to be with her due to restrictions.
Juanita Hernandez was hospitalized Saturday night with chest pains and high blood pressure. Multiple tests were done and she had a catheterization in which they inserted a stint to clear blockage in her artery. She was released from St. Luke’s Hospital Tuesday 5/5.
Tasha Jones father passed away Sunday morning.
All 4 of the Pena family members, Mari, Jessie, Jessie Jr., and Melisa have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The kids have mild cases and mom and dad are both doing a little better.
Note from Jim Nichols: “If all goes as planned, Aaron will be coming home (from Costa Rica) on Friday, May 8th. Please pray that the flight goes as planned and for safety for travels and not contracting covid 19.”
Judy & Tom Nowlin ask us to please pray for their friends, Marci & Mike Murphy in Arkansas. They are both professors at Harding University. Mike was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a rare and very serious disease of the lungs. They covet your prayers at this time.
