Prayer List
At Southside we believe that prayer makes a difference. Please remember the following in your prayers. To have some thing or some one added to the list or to have a prayer request updated, please contact the church office.

 RECENT PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Christine Saunders was hospitalized last week with heart problems.  She is home, now, and will need to make a decision on the best type of treatment for her condition.

  • Carl Frazier has suffered a stroke and has significant memory loss.  He has been moved to a long term care center in Appleton.

  • Gene Campbells' eye surgery last week went well and he is  home recovering. 

  • Troy Jensen has been deployed to the Middle East for 6 months with the Navy Reserves.  Please pray for his safety as well as for Jean as she waits for him to return.

  • Lucy Ovokaitys' father has been diagnosed with cancer.

  • Elizabeth Dickson is asking for prayers for her 19 year old niece, Katie who has cervical cancer.  Please pray for Katie and her family.

  • John Dickson's mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

  • Elizabeth Dickson's fathers' has advanced cirrhosis of the liver.

  • April Alexander is looking for a teaching position at a good school in Math or Biology.

  • Please remember Juan Medina in your prayers for strength in his personal  and spiritual life.  And for Juanita and Exequiel as they adjust to Juan being home

  • Mary Anguiano requests prayers for her daughter and son-in-law, Lotti and Jose Cervantes, as they struggle with personal issues.

 

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Those who are recovering from recent surgeries:         Teresa Matias, LeRoy Latham.

  • Christine Saunders is being treated for Multiple Sclerosis.

  • Troy Jensen's father, Jim Jenson, has been diagnosed with colon cancer and is undergoing treatments.

  • Tony Bensons' health is very poor.  He is suffering many side effects of the illness.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

  • Melanie Werner's nephew, Jason Gibson is in Iraq and his job is to clear the roads for passage.  Prayers are for his safety as well all the other troops there.

  • Clayton Kohl, friend of Ed Dabbs, who is undergoing treatment for lung tumors.

  • Marc Gray (grandson of the Grays) needs a kidney transplant and is in declining health.

  • Please pray for Southside's growth, outreach ministries, and future building plans.

  • Please keep in your prayers all the young people, for the many worldly challenges they are faced with.
