Shepherds
Southside's shepherds are wise men
responsible for the spiritual health of the church.
Southside's shepherds, or elders, are godly men of whom the
Southside church looks to for
wisdom, guidance and direction.

As elders of the
Southside Church, one of our major functions is to serve as the
congregation’s shepherds. The church is made up of people, and all
people have spiritual needs. These needs may involve such diverse
things as family problems, addiction, depression, or decision making.
We would like the members to know that we are available to counsel and
encourage those who ask for help. The elders regularly meet at 7:00
p.m. at the church building on the second Thursday of the month and at
4:30 p.m. on the second Sunday. Additionally we meet at other times
as the need occurs. Anyone who wishes to meet with us can schedule an
appointment with all of the elders or one or two as seems best. The
meeting can be at any time that can be mutually worked out. Let us
know if we can help.
