Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.

Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying How Do We Read the Bible.  Wednesday evening Bible class is in Revelation.

It is time for a directory update sheet.  If you have changes (email, phone, address, other) that need be updated in the directory and did not appear in the handout, please send them to Cliff Copass.

Special Events

The Brentwood Church is planning a Vacation Bible School for June 23 – 27, 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Samuel and Jennifer Naseem plans to be here July 6 to share about their educational work with children in rural Pakistan. A fellowship meal is planned follow the morning services.

Yubelka Jacamo and Nick Senstock plan to be married late June in Madison.  We plan to celebrate their marriage with a potluck lunch on July 13 after services at 12:15 PM.  Main and side dishes will be needed, dessert (cake) will be provided.  Lisa Bane (414-416-6578) is coordinating, please contact Lisa before July 10.

The Hampton Ave. church 5705 W. Hampton Ave. is planning a Young Adult Revival, July 13 – 16 (see flyer on bulletin board) and VBS July 21-25 at 6:00 pm.

Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night, Friday, July 25, 2025, 6pm, in the fellowship hall.  Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game.  If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share.  Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.

Our next joint bilingual worship service is planned for Sunday August 10, 2025 with a potluck meal following.

WCYC 2025 camp dates: Busqueda June 25-29; Senior June 29-July 12; Intermediate July 13-26; Junior July 27-August 2; Family August 2-6.  Scholarships are available for those needing financial help to attend – contact Brad Stanger.

Regular Events

The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class has closed down for the summer.

Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.  Please see Christine Saunders for details.

Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm.  A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.

A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.

The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food.  Dan Giombi has details.

Opportunities

There is a sign-up sheet on the “Miscellaneous” bulletin board for mowing and trimming dates at the building.  Mower and tools are available at the building.  See Otto Mageland. 414-336-1007 for details.

There is a sign-up sheet on the Club 55 bulletin board for those interested in packing Stock Boxes for the Hunger Task Force.  A specific date is not yet selected but we need to find out how many are available on a weekday.

A Red Cross blood drive at Southside is planned for Friday June 27 from noon to 5.  Browse to redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767 to make an appointment.

Anyone interested in joining the team who runs the Sunday morning Live-Stream should contact Kevin for training.

If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time.  Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.

Due to their increasing number, the Spanish congregation has moved their worship to the main fellowship room and everything previously available there on Sunday has been moved to the small fellowship room where they previously met.

Reminders

When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events.  This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.

If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know.  Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
