Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.

Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Luke.  Wednesday evening Bible class is in Revelation.

The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May with a Zoom video link.  The planned series are the parables of Jesus, this week – The Ten Virgins Matthew 25:1-13, and The Sheep and The Goats Matthew 25:31-46

A Family Meeting is being planned for Sunday March 23.

Special Events

The Hampton Ave Church of Christ, 5705 W. Hampton Ave, is planning a Men’s breakfast March 29 at 8:30 am; Gospel Meetings April 24 – 26 at 7 pm and April 27 at 10 am; VBS July 14 at 6:00 pm

Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, April 18, 2025, 6 pm, in the fellowship hall.  Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game.  If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share.  Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.

A Ladies Day Program is planned for May 3.

The Brentwood Church of Christ, 6424 N. 60th St, is planning Spring Gospel Meetings on May 4 – 7 at 7:00 pm.

The Hampton Avenue Church is planning a VBS for July 14 at 6 pm.

The Waukesha Church of Christ, 2816 Madison St. is planning their Kick Start Summer Reading Program and Volunteer Opportunity for July 28 – 31st 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM (apply to help by June 1).

WCYC 2025 camp dates: Busqueda June 25-29; Senior June 29-July 12; Intermediate July 13-26; Junior July 27-August 2; Family August 2-6.

Regular Events

The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class meets each week at 10 am. The current study is on the book of Philippians.  Please see Peggy Koch or Allison Morrill for details.  A Zoom meeting link is available if you are unable to be there in person.

Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.  Please see Christine Saunders for details.

Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm.  A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.

A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.

Opportunities

Juanita Hernandez (414-933-6190) is scheduled to move at the end of March and needs help with packing and moving.

Rex Butts knows two people looking for help.  One needs a carpet layer, the other needs a recommendation for an apartment.

The Coffeys are planning to help with the Kentucky flood recovery work and need sponsors to help with travel expenses starting March 10.

A Red Cross blood drive at Southside is planned for Friday April 4 from noon to 5.  Browse to redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767 to make an appointment.

When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events.  This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.

If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know.  Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
