Prayer Requests 01-08-23

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Leigh Kilsdonk – “I would like to ask that everybody join me in praying that 2023 is a good year for all of us at Southside Church, and for our country!”

Please pray for Grace Hiller. She had gallbladder surgery Friday. There were complications with the surgery and she needed to have a stent placed, allowing a nicked bile duct to heal. The stent will be removed in a couple of months.

MSOE Student, Jacob Amunson, asks prayers for his family. “My grandmother passed away recently, so if she could be in people’s prayers, I would appreciate it.”

Andrea Maybin’s dear friend, Helaine, passed away Dec. 30th. Please pray for Helaine’s daughters, Jasmine and Alexis, that they may find strength in God during this difficult time. Andrea also asks prayers for the Maybin family as they travel this week to Baltimore to attend the funeral.

Patty Young: “I just wanted to let all know that Eugene and Barb have moved into assisted living in the building complex where I live. (I am in senior-living) As all may know this is the couple that I have requested prayers for because Eugene was going blind and his wife Barb has dementia! “Thank You” for all your prayers on their behalf! I believe this move is a heavy load off of Eugene and Barb! “Praise God”!!!!!”

Online visitor, Angelique Posey,  has a prayer request for healing for her elderly God- mother that she has been taking care of during her COVID-19. “Heal her breathing issues and restore her faith.”

Online visitor, Nichoal Dunn, asks prayers for her and her family. “We have had a rough year. We have found a new place and ask for prayers for a great year ahead of us, for guidance, and are looking to attend in person soon. Thank you.”

Kevin and Allison’s family are travelling to Nebraska to attend the funeral for Mike Rush. Hold in prayer, Mike’s wife and children, the Morrill family, all those travelling to attend, as well as prayers for those whose lives were influenced by Mike, who are unable to come for the funeral.

First time visitors from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, John & Ellen Lucas, are in Milwaukee for 5 weeks as a patient at Froedtert Hospital. (They know about Southside through Fallhall Glen) Lift them in prayer for strength through this time.
