Today is First Sunday First Fruits. Tables are set up in room 4 for donations to the Food Pantry.
Today, about 5 minutes after the worship, we are planning 15 minutes of prayer in the fellowship room for Southside.
A time of prayer is planned for Tuesday at the building, 7:00 p.m.
A Family Game Night is planned for Friday November 11.
Sunday morning Class and Worship is now held in-person as well as live-streamed. You are welcome to join us! Masks are optional everywhere except in the fellowship room during worship time. Of course, if you are ill or have had recent contact with someone who is ill, please stay home. There is no evening worship at this time.
We are hoping to have a short singing study for the song “The Great Redeemer” five minutes after worship next week using the singing part-by-part helps from Praise and Harmony TV.
Special Events
The annual Senior Dinner is being planned for Saturday November 19. Guests are invited to arrive at noon and things should wrap up between 2:00 and 3:00. Younger people are needed for serving, preparation and cleanup. There are sign up sheets on the bulletin board, across from the kitchen, for guests to sign up, for helpers and for food donations.
An outing to the Fireside Dinner Theatre is planned for Saturday December 10. Cost for dinner and live show is $77.25 which is overdue now. The show is White Christmas. Sign-up is required.
Opportunities
Several MSOE students would like to attend Southside, but need a ride from the downtown area. Please contact Patrick Bowman if you can help.
The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team, (9285 S. State Route 202, Tipp City, Ohio 45371) is responding to the flooding in Kentucky. Help is needed.
If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time. Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.

Regular Events
Marie Coffey invites those with a Facebook account to join a Virtual Bible study on Tuesdays at 7 pm. Send a Facebook friend request to Marie and message that you want to join.
The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class meets at 10 am in the fellowship hall, continuing with the subject Women of the Bible. Please see Peggy Koch or Allison Morrill for details. You are also able to join via Zoom meeting. The link to join is sent out Wednesday night.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm, on the gospel of John. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food. Dan Giombi has details. Next meeting is December 6.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month. Next meeting is November 8.
Jeff Valodine is hosting a weekly study and fellowship group at his downtown home (901 W. Winnebago Street Milwaukee) on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8. See Jeff or call/text 262-825-6919 for details. Everyone is invited.

The Southside Worship Advisory Group (SWAG) would like input from both online and in-person worshipers, especially through the online Connection Card survey questions. Please take the time to provide your input.

There’s a special group of people here at Southside that are ages 55 and older, called Club 55. They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond.
