Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
Sunday morning Class and Worship is now held in-person as well as live-streamed. You are welcome to join us! Masks are optional everywhere except in the fellowship room during worship time. Of course, if you are ill or have had recent contact with someone who is ill, please stay home. There is no evening worship at this time.
The next Red Cross blood drive at Southside is planned for Wednesday June 29 from noon to 5 pm. See Latanja Mudd or Wayne Alexander for details. For an appointment call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org. After worship today, we will need help to set up the Fellowship room for the Blood drive.
Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, July 29, 2022, 6 pm. in the fellowship hall. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. Bring your favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.
Next week, we are planning to collect nonperishable food items for the First Sunday First Fruits program. The food will be shared with those in need. Please see Danny Giombi for details.
Special Events
The Hampton Avenue are planning a Ladies Retreat for September 16 to 18 in Green Lake. $100 deposit is due August 30 if you wish to attend.
An outing to the Fireside Dinner Theatre is planned for Saturday December 10. Cost for dinner and live show is $77.25 which is due by October 30. The show is White Christmas. Sign-up is required.

Opportunities
If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time. Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.

Regular Events
Wednesday night Bible class at the building – 7 pm. A Study in the book of 1 Timothy as a follow up to the sermon series. (Also available as a Zoom meeting)
The Thursday morning Ladies Bible Class is on break for summer.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship room. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Second Tuesday Hour of Prayer meeting – July 11 at 7 pm
The Christian Workers’ Meeting will resume in October.
First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Bible Study group meets each month September through June. Next meeting: September 6
A 15 minute prayer meeting is held on the first Sunday of the month in the Fellowship Room 5 minutes after worship. July 3.
Marie Coffey invites those with a Facebook account to join a Virtual Bible study of the book of Hebrews on Tuesdays at 7 pm. Send a Facebook friend request to Marie and message that you want to join.

There’s a special group of people here at Southside that are ages 55 and older, called Club 55. They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond.
