Prayer Requests 05-22-22

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Congratulations! And many blessings to the two newly married couples:
Taylor Williams was married to Zach Hartvig Saturday, May 21st.
Antonio Johnson was married to Virgie (Vee) Winn Thursday, May 5th

Jeff Hill’s mom passed away early Monday Morning. We pray for peace and comfort for Jeff and his brothers in their time of loss.

Marcos Alicea had the long awaited throat surgery last week. His condition is unknown at this time.

Amelia’s sister, Bertha, is still in the hospital in Tucson, AZ. She has some fluid buildup in her right lung that is being addressed.

Marie Coffey asks for prayers for Marshall who has a painful condition called Osgood Schlatters disease in his right knee. It is something he could outgrow but for now he is on a permanent no running restriction. Marshall is 12 years old making this an especially dificult restriction.

Mason Coffey is scheduled for surgery to repair his eardrum on June 23.

Sharon Erato’s body is having some issues adjusting to the new organs. The organs are healthy but she has some congestion and fluid buildup on her lungs. Also, she has developed a C-diff infection. Please continue prayers for her body’s strength and for hers and Frank’s faith.

A friend of Jim and Lori Nichols, Jim Donahoe, is in kidney failure and is receiving daily dialysis waiting for a kidney. Please lift Jim, his wife Lori Donahue and the rest of their family in prayer!

Nikki Ivers asks for prayers for clarity of thought her as she delivers the message about her son, Edward, about his autism this Wednesday morning. (Update – The presentation went very well.)

Jettie Carr would like to thank the Southside family, for all the outreach she received last month during my news of her brother on hospice.
“My travel back to spend some time with him was very heartfelt and moving for me. I shared the word of God with my brother and prayed with him. I am truly blessed.” Jettie

We are mindful of the families who lost children and teachers in the recent school shooting in TX. May God surround them with his comfort and peace through this tragic time.
