Marcos Alicea has been scheduled for surgery for throat cancer. The surgery was postponed multiple times but now he is scheduled this week for an 8 hour surgery where they expect to go in the side of his neck to remove the cancer followed by a skin graft which they will take from his arm. It has been a long and arduous process for Marcos. Please lift our brother in prayer for strength and healing.
Eli Saunders will have an MRI on his head this week Thursday to try and determine the cause of a recent seizure. Thankfully, epilepsy was ruled out. We pray for favorable results of the scan and for peace for Eli as well as for Christine and Scott.
Dorothy Henry asks prayers for the administrators and the situation at Universal School in River Hills, where she works. The school is being sued by high profile parents and she feels that the claims are unfair. It is creating an unsettled atmosphere and she asks for prayers that it would not escalate making it an unsafe environment.
Gary and Suzanne Weber were former members of Southside and they are friends of Barb Dawson. Gary passed away Sunday morning. The family would appreciate our prayers during this difficult time.
Please continue prayers for Eli Clark, Laurie Giombi’s 40 yr. old nephew. He broke his ankle and needs surgery but he has multiple other issues that need to be addressed before he can have that fixed. He is being treated at the VA in Pennsylvania and has been waiting 8 or 9 months. He hasn’t been able to work. (I (Laurie) thank you for the prayers sent on my nephew’s behalf)
