Prayer Requests 02-13-22

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Marcos Alicea’s throat surgery was scheduled for Feb 15. Because of pain he has been unable to eat and has lost a lot of weight so a feeding tube was also going to be placed. We pray that the surgery was successful, that the results of the biopsy will be clear and that he will regain his strength.

Leigh Kilsdonk asks prayers for her sister in-law, Pat, whose father passed away last week.

Barb Dawson is home after 9 weeks in the hospital and rehab center for her badly broken leg. She is receiving nursing and rehab at home but spends most of the day and overnight alone and still has a long way to go before she is healed.  Barb is so very thankful for all the prayers, letters and phone calls. She truly believes God saved her that night on the steps. She believes in the power of prayer and is asking for continued prayers as she faces new challenges every day.

Note from Patty Young: “I just wanted to “Thank” all for their thoughts and prayers on behalf of my family and me!!! And “God Bless each and every one of you“!!!! Wendy is starting to feel sickness from chemo and Troy was flown from Prairie Du Chien to La Crosse by helicopter where he had 2 stents implanted in his heart through his wrist! There was 100% blockage in 1 artery and more than 80% in another. They caught it in time! “Praise God”! Troy still has pain in his throat!  I am doing okay. Should be starting physical therapy soon! Please continue prayers! God does answer prayers! Amen!!!!”

Jan Alexander – “I am deeply grateful for your thoughts, prayers, cards and greetings.  As I continue the recovery process, my spirits are uplifted by you.”

Please continue prayers for Guy Marshall as he recovers from covid related complications.

An online worshiper, Brianna West, requests prayers for her mom and her family. They just found out their mother has cancer and the family is taking it really hard.

Continue to lift Mary Brown’s sister, Laura and her husband in prayer to our Father for the difficult physical, mental and financial challenges that they are facing.
