Lift in prayer those who are struggling spiritually and mentally. Those challenges aren’t as easy to identify and explain as the physical issues we see, but are very much as necessary to be prayed over. Consider reaching out to someone you know who is struggling, to talk to them and to pray with them.
Keep Southside in your prayers, for the growth of future ministries, for our vision, for those who are leading us and for God to direct us in the way He wants us to grow.
When times are tough, our thoughts are often pulled to the quickest solution or even fears about how things could get worse. Singing songs and shouting praise are not at the forefront of our minds. But if you’re in a storm right now, praising God is EXACTLY what you need to do. The devil works so hard to keep us focused on our problems to keep us in the storm, but that’s not where our help comes from! Psalm 121:2 says our help comes from the Lord. Hallelujah! (selected)
