Prayer Requests 04-11-21

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Maria Hill started injections Friday to prepare her for a bone marrow transplant. She will be in the hospital for 3-4 weeks with a recovery of 3 months. Please lift your prayers to God for her body to remain strong and for the transplant to heal her from the cancer and also for Ben as he goes through this with her. Her son, Kenny Mims, was home to visit from California which fills her heart with great joy!
Jim Nichols is dealing with the after effects of shingles and is in quite a lot of pain. Please pray that he will heal soon.
We ask prayer of blessings on the Morrill family to stay healthy after being exposed to someone who has Covid.
Mari & Jesse Pena are in Mexico to be with Jesse’s father who is in the hospital. They request prayers for Jesse’s father, Jesus Pena.
Dorothy Henry asks for prayers for her coworker, Shirley B., who is going through a very bad time.
Brad and Linda Stanger are on a road trip to Texas. We lift them in prayer for safe travel and for Linda to remain strong enough to enjoy the trip.
Patty and Roger Young ask for prayers for their oldest daughter, Wendy Cook. She had successful back surgery recently for a herniated disk, but soon after she was in more pain and another herniated disk was discovered.
Peggy and Ken Koch ask prayers for their grandson who is on a submarine in an unknown place to anyone but them for several months. Prayers for him to feel the presence and peace of God with him.
Remember in prayer those healing from surgeries and injuries including, Otto Mageland, Tom Nowlin, Jetti Carr.
We’ve gotten several thank you cards from people who have been on past prayer lists, stating how thankful they are for the cards. One person said how good it made her feel to know that someone is thinking of her. It may seem like a small thing to send a card, but it is a very big thing to the one receiving it. Hopefully the isolation will be coming to an end soon but in the meantime, consider sending a note of love and encouragement or make a call to someone you know is alone.
