Have you ever jumped to a conclusion about the future based on what has happened in the past?

As you read all of Joshua 22 consider what may have caused this reaction of wanting to go to war with their fellow Israelites: 1) the ups and downs of Israel’s dedication to God’s will and the impact it had on the whole community, 2) That these events happened just after the whole community left the presence of the Tabernacle of God in Shiloh 3) These two and a half tribes chose to live separated from the other tribes to live on the east side of the Jordan river 4) What are alters usually used for.  Supplemental Readings: Lev 17:8-9; Deut 13:12-15; 1 Cor 15:33; James 1:19-27
