Julia Hawley went home to Jesus, fittingly, on Sunday – the Lord’s Day – Sept. 20th. We pray for her children and their families as they mourn her loss. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, September 29 at Southside from 3 to 6 with the funeral beginning at 6. The service is being live-streamed on FaceBook starting at 5:45.
Maria Guerra fell recently and injured her knee. Nothing is broken but a lot of swelling and trouble getting around. Pray for improving mobility. She would also like to thank everyone for the kind cards and notes following her brother’s death

John & Elizabeth Dickson report that they made it safely to their new home in Roby, TX. They ask for our continued prayers for them to complete all the work needed on their home before they can move in.
Sandra Ferry fell in her apartment last week and required stitches inside and outside of her mouth. Please remember her in prayer also for her concerns for two of her brothers who are in very poor health, her brother-in-law is in hospice care and her great granddaughter is going though leukemia treatments. They all live out of state and she is not able to go to any of them.
Josh Stafford was successful at defending his dissertation last week. Congratulations to Josh on earning his PhD.

Barb Dawson’s stepdaughter Doreen has pancreatic cancer and is receiving hospice care. Please keep Doreen and her family in your prayers at this difficult time.
