Now, more than ever, the need to stay connected is important. Consider those who may not use the internet/email to communicate and those who live alone. A phone call is a wonderfully personal way to connect with someone – even with those you regularly message by text or Face Book, etc. The longer we are kept physically separated the more a friendly voice on the phone is appreciated.
Brad Stanger’s father – Bob (90) and mother – Beve (88) have both tested positive for Covid-19. Please pray for them as they face this new challenge in their lives.
Jetti Carr’s 71 yr.old Uncle Francis passed away Sunday morning from covid -19. He is from South Dakota so she will be unable to travel and be with her family.
Leigh Kilsdonk: “I want to ask that everybody join me in praying that USPS will continue to deliver mail forever. Also that people purchase postage stamps to pay bills and to send greeting cards and an occasional personal letter. If you’re like me you would miss getting birthday and greeting cards. My brother, a cousin and One of my sisters-in-law’s two brothers are newsletter carriers and doing this would mean the world to them and others!”
Last week Isaiah Hill went through the last big challenge before becoming a Marine. Tuesday’s challenge was called “the crucible” for a reason, and Thursday, “the reaper” a 15k hike. There has been no word yet how he did but keep him in prayer as he finishes basic training.
We rejoice with the angels as Daphne Milkert was baptized into Christ Easter Sunday morning.
